Laser engraved personalization is achieved through laser technology that ‘etches’ a design into the fabric cover of your album creating an indention. The color of the engraving is dependent upon the material engraved. Often the engraving appears to be tone-on-tone, or blind, or there can be contrast depending on the properties of the fabric.
The laser engraving on the Retro Collection shows a subtle contrast:
The engraving on the fabrics from the Lunak Collection vary from color to color, most are a darker version of the album cover resulting in a subtle personalization while others result in higher contrast engravings or even tone-on-tone.
The laser engraving available in the Antique Collection is tone-on-tone with a greater depth.
And here is the laser engraving on the Objet d'Art:

The Volluto Collection when ordered with the silver or gold plaque
Please note that all laser engraving options require a vector file for printing. If you are ordering an album using one of our pre-designed customizations we will create the vector as part of the manufacturing process. For back-cover branding, custom engraving or the Objet d'Art you must submit your own vector file.
